However, a year later, the band turned their decision around, embarking on a tour of Brazil and releasing a new EP in 2013, titled “The Resignation,” a collection of covers. ![]() Choosing a harder-hitting, progressive sound incorporating downbeat reggae with visceral post-hardcore, 2003’s “Resignation” became the first album to break into the Billboard 200.įollowing a nationwide headline tour, their first album for new label MDB appeared in 2006, titled “…And the Battle Begun.” “Mandala” arrived in 2009, before RX Bandits announced their decision to go on an extended hiatus in 2011. The band’s lineup changed dramatically after the album, with Worth, Gaffney and Balling leaving, replaced by Steve Choi (keyboards), Joseph Troy (bass), Chris Sheets (trombone) and Steve Borth (saxophone), alongside a changing musical direction. And besides, its an independent label, so if nothing else, give it a chance and support Mash Down Babylon records. Besides that this is well worth the money. There's a few songs that have kinda crappy filming but only 2, no more than that. The resignation is about as close to musical perfection as any band could dream of. resignation was possibly the greatest acomplishment of any existing band still playing. OK i just want to start off by saying all the stupid confused people that gave the resignation a bad review are exactly that. I would suggest this to any rx bandits fan, i got this dvd then went to their concert a week later, and the dvd was just like being at a concert. Could be a little lengthier, but for $12, its really worth it. All the bonus features are good too, which alot of songs. Their setlist is pretty cool, lots of songs from progress. Their set for the concert is pretty short, roughly 10 songs, but its awesome cuz they jam inbetween songs, and its actually good. Very good dvd one of the best band dvds ive seen defiantly buy this if you are an Rx Bandits fan.and get their new cd to got that but it doesnt say i can write a review for that but get it I had the chance to saw them on stage earlier this year but unfortunatly, they were not the headliners of the show, it was cool anyway! From an Rx Bandits true fan! This dvd is simply awesome, but the best part is the acoustic one I think.
